Dear Friend:

I am pleased to write to you in order to present the School of Cinema and Television, educational enterprise which I founded in Caracas in 1983. The School is located at Caracas Chamber of Commerce and Industry headquarters building.

We are very proud to hear about the interest of young students from your country who are willing to come to Venezuela, to the School of Cinema and Television, to study with us.

The student who graduates from this School is capable of mastering the profession of the audiovisual producer, for film, video and television. The goal is to educate the men and women who will do work on filmmaking and television. Those who graduate from our Career are able to prepare a script, to produce it, to direct it, to operate cameras, to handle Direction of Photography, Sound and Editing. All processes of preproduction, production and postproduction are artistically and technically mastered, uniting theory and practice. The end of course project requires a twofold presentation: a practical section of producing an audiovisual work on a selected media, and its theoretical section or Thesis which is equivalent to the Production Diary of such work.

This will be an important period during their lives, not only due to the high quality of instruction that students will receive on Cinema and Television, but also because of the enriching discovery of a new cultural environment that they will get to know.

Venezuela is a country featuring huge social, economic, political and cultural contrasts. Its population are wonderful people who enjoy very much interacting with foreigners, who are always welcome.
